The Method

Why Dehydrated?

Dehydration is one of the oldest and most natural food preservation methods. It's better for your dog than you might think.

01

Nutrients Preserved

Gentle dehydration preserves natural enzymes, vitamins, and minerals — giving your dog the full nutritional benefit of the raw ingredient without safety concerns.

02

No Preservatives Needed

Removing moisture naturally inhibits bacterial growth. We don't need artificial preservatives, colours, or flavour enhancers. What's on the label is all that's in the bag.

03

Naturally Chewy

The firm, chewy texture of dehydrated treats is great for dental health. Chewing helps scrape plaque and tartar, keeping your dog's teeth cleaner between brushes.

04

Nutrient Dense

Water removal concentrates both flavour and nutrition. A small treat packs a big punch — making these ideal for training without overfeeding.

05

Longer Shelf Life

Without moisture, dehydrated treats stay fresh for months without refrigeration. Less waste, more convenience, always something good on hand for your pup.

06

Easy to Digest

Single-ingredient dehydrated treats are among the gentlest for dogs to digest — ideal for dogs with sensitive stomachs, food allergies, or intolerances.

Common Questions

FAQ

How should I store dehydrated treats?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, seal the bag tightly or transfer to an airtight container. Treats typically stay fresh for 3–6 months unopened, and 4–6 weeks once opened.

How many treats can I give per day?

Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog's daily calorie intake. As a general guide: small dogs (under 10kg) 1–2 pieces, medium dogs (10–25kg) 2–4 pieces, large dogs 4–6 pieces. Adjust based on your dog's overall diet.

Are these treats suitable for puppies?

Yes. Our treats are suitable for puppies aged 8 weeks and over. For young puppies, break treats into smaller pieces to keep portions appropriate.

Are your treats grain-free?

Yes, all of our treats are 100% grain-free. Each product contains only the single ingredient listed on the label — nothing else.

My dog has a food allergy — are these safe?

Our single-ingredient treats are ideal for dogs with food sensitivities because you always know exactly what's inside. If your dog has a known allergy, check the ingredient list carefully and consult your vet if unsure.

Where do your ingredients come from?

All ingredients are sourced locally from Massachusetts farms, butchers, and markets. We work with suppliers who share our commitment to quality and ethical sourcing.
